Forbes: Will Live Streaming Replace Regional Sports Networks?
As traditional regional sports networks struggle financially, large companies like Apple, Amazon, YouTube, and Disney have expressed an interest in streaming local NBA and WNBA games in the 2023-24 season. While these tech giants continue to dip their toes into live sports streaming, Kiswe announced a partnership with the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury to stream games digitally on fully white labeled platforms.
Sports Illustrated: Lions Announce Alternate Broadcast for Giants Preseason Game
The Detroit Lions announced that the team would be utilizing Kiswe’s cloud production technology to create an alternative broadcast of their preseason opener against the New York Giants. This alternative broadcast was a new and exciting opportunity for fans to watch an interactive stream, which included live commentary, and interviews from several guests. Fans could view the Kiswe broadcast on the Lions Mobile App and on the Detroit Lions website.
Sports Business Journal: NBA to team with Kiswe for streaming Jazz games
The NBA partnered with Kiswe to launch a branded, direct-to-consumer (DTC) service for streaming the Utah Jazz games to local fans for the 2023-24 NBA season. Specifics about subscription options, pricing, and programming will be announced later this month.
