Lauv Announces The Lauvstream: A Live Music & Meditation Experience in Partnership with BetterHelp, Powered by Kiswe and Produced by Mercury Live

On Thursday, November 10th, fans can immerse themselves in a one-night-only digital event exploring mindfulness, self-care and the power of vulnerability.

New Jersey – Oct 19, 2022 – Lauv has announced a one-night-only digital event to celebrate his most recent album All 4 Nothing, in partnership with BetterHelp, powered by Kiswe, the interactive video company.

The Lauvstream: A Live Music & Meditation Experience will take fans through an interactive journey exploring mindfulness, self-care and the power of vulnerability. The event includes an intimate and heartfelt live band performance that showcases songs from Lauv’s latest album like never before, alongside some of his much loved million-selling hits. Mercury Live, part of Mercury Studios and the wider Universal Music Group family, developed, created and will produce the event from London in conjunction with director Edie Amos and Lauv.

The shared event will also allow fans the chance to immerse themselves live, direct and in the moment. Lauv will also take part in a live Q&A with the audience.

Earlier this month, Lauv, a vocal advocate for mental health, announced a partnership with BetterHelp where BetterHelp will provide up to $3 million in free therapy hours to Lauv’s fans.

Lauv and BetterHelp’s partnership aims to promote the importance of mental health and improved access to therapy. Any Lauv fan new to BetterHelp can sign up and be matched to a licensed therapist for a free month of professional therapy by visiting http://www.betterhelp.com/lauv.

Lauv fans will be able to view the digital event on November 10th, with tickets starting at $15, available at live.lauvsongs.com.

"I’ve had such a life changing experience on tour and can’t wait to announce more tour dates for 2023, says Lauv. “But in the meantime, this livestream is the perfect experience for us all to celebrate being present in music and in life, all around the world at once."

Lauv, who is distributed via Virgin Music Label & Artist Services, will work with Kiswe to create a live interactive concert experience for audiences around the globe, leveraging integrated chat and cheer functionality along with Kiswe’s Fan React technology which allows fans to post 5 second selfies directly into the broadcast. Fans will be able to get up close and personal with Lauv. With Kiswe’s world class streaming technology and global reach, it will feel like fans are part of the in-person event.

“Kiswe’s reliable, scalable technology continues to help musicians break barriers and connect with the 99 percent of their fanbase who cannot see them in person,” said Kiswe CEO Glenn Booth. “We’re excited to help loyal fans around the globe experience Lauv’s music in new and ever-more immersive ways, while also helping get the message out about the importance of mental health awareness.”

“Overcoming the stigma of seeking help for mental health challenges is something that requires so many of us to work together and talk about it,” says Alon Matas, President and Founder of BetterHelp. “We’re excited to partner with Lauv to further our efforts to reduce the stigma around mental healthcare and provide free therapy resources to those who need it.”
