KISWE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

KISWE Community Guidelines: Effective Date: April 20, 2016

Effective Date

April 20, 2016 (Last updated: December 22, 2021).

Introduction

These Community Guidelines (the “Guidelines”) are intended to outline the types of content that are not allowed on our service (the “Service”). These Guidelines apply to all content on the Service and are subject to updates on a regular basis.

With these Guidelines, we hope to balance the need to make Kiswe a safe community (including fans, brands and performers) with the goal of providing users a platform to share a wide variety of experiences and views.

1. Self-Harm

Self-harm, or discussing self-harm in a reckless manner, is dangerous for yourself and viewers of your content. While we allow users to do the important work of sharing their experiences with depression, self-harm and mental health issues generally, Kiswe does not allow content that glorifies, promotes, or encourages self-harm. We also do not allow activity that may endanger your life, lead to your physical harm, or encourage viewers to engage in physically harmful behavior. When you create content that references these sensitive topics, consider the potential harmful impact of your content on other users, particularly minors and those who could otherwise be sensitive to this content.

2. Violent and Dangerous Content

Kiswe strictly prohibits content that features violence, gore, illegal acts, or threats of violence, as well as content that encourages others to commit violent, dangerous or illegal acts. This includes content that depicts, contains or promotes extremist or criminal organizations, animal abuse, the private information of others, and the recreational use and/or creation of hard drugs.

3. Sexually Explicit and Obscene Content

Content that is sexually explicit/obscene, or that solicits any sexual content or obscenity in any way, can be removed from the Service at our sole discretion. This includes content that contains depictions of nudity or sexual acts.

4. Youth Safety

We do not allow content that or activity that endangers minors, which we define as anyone younger than 18 years old. This includes content that sexualizes minors, reveals the personal information of minors, contains vulgar language, exposes minors to mature or excessively violent themes, or is otherwise inappropriate for the physical and emotional well-being of minors.

5. Hate Speech and Hateful Conduct

Kiswe does not allow speech or conduct that is motivated by hatred or prejudice, including behavior that promotes discrimination, denigration, harassment, or violence based on age, race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status.

6. Harassment and Sexual Harassment

Content that constitutes harassment is strictly forbidden on Kiswe, as it makes users feel unsafe on the Service. This includes including personal attacks, the promotion of physical harm, and name calling. We also do not allow unwelcome sexual advances and solicitations, sexual objectification, or degrading attacks relating to a person’s sexual practices.

7. Breaking the Law

Kiswe requires users to respect all applicable laws while using the Service. Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, or soliciting illicit conduct is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

We respect the intellectual property rights of others; thus, we do not allow users to share content on the Service that they do not own or otherwise have rights to share. This includes the patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights and other intellectual property of others. For more information regarding our policies pertaining to intellectual property, please see our Terms of Use.

9. Impersonation and Misinformation

Content that impersonates or is intended to impersonate another person or organization is strictly prohibited.

Users of the Service also are prohibited from sharing false, incomplete or misleading information that is potentially harmful to others. This includes content that aims to mislead census participants, manipulated or misattributed content, and content that contradicts health authorities on certain medical practices.
