Jazz at Lincoln Center And Kiswe Introduce The Jazz Live App

The Jazz Live App enhances the livestream viewing experience by empowering fans with controls on their mobile devices to watch and switch between multiple camera views.

Jazz Live is designed to enhance the live stream experience
for jazz fans worldwide, giving them unprecedented control of their viewing experience.

New York, NY (October 28, 2019) Since 2012, Jazz at Lincoln Center has provided jazz fans around the world free online access to livestreams of hundreds of its concerts from Frederick P. Rose Hall, in New York, New York.

Jazz Live, an app created by Jazz at Lincoln Center in collaboration with KISWE Mobile, now enhances the livestream viewing experience by empowering fans with controls on their mobile devices to watch and switch between multiple camera views. Not only does this bring the viewer into the concert hall but gives them the best seats in the house.

Jazz at Lincoln Center is proud to introduce new, interactive educational content exclusively on the Jazz Live app. The “JLCO Play Along” Videos, previously available only to Essentially Ellington band directors, are now available to all Jazz Live app users. “JLCO Play Along” Videos, designed for big band musicians and band directors, feature 12-camera interactive videos offering close ups of each section of a big band as it plays the six 2020 Essentially Ellington selections.

Additionally, as Jazz at Lincoln Center celebrates the 25th anniversary of its signature education program, the Essentially Ellington High School Band Competition & Festival, the organization announces viewers can utilize the Jazz Live app during the festival and competition events on May 7─9, 2020.
